Trailhead Outreach Volunteer Form 2022/23

The primary goal of this program is to reach winter backcountry recreationists at local trailheads and inform them of the forecasting services and education opportunities NWAC provides to their community. The success of Trailhead Outreach is driven by its simplicity – volunteers connect with recreationists at popular trailheads with easy access to avalanche terrain. Volunteers set-up tents and tables with outreach/safety information, collect surveys with user information, and to engage with the public.

Program Dates: Saturdays and Sundays from 12/10/2022 to late March 2023
Time: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Locations: Various trailheads across NWAC's forecasting region including locations at Snoqualmie Pass, Stevens Pass, Mt Baker, Mt Hood, Hurricane Ridge, and the Mountain Loop Highway.

Training Dates
