People from Caribou to Kittery are feeling the effects of the state’s lack of quality, affordable housing. Rents are impossibly high, evictions are up 25% in a year, and far too many Mainers are living in tents and on the streets. Low-income renters face a housing market that often excludes them. The end of federal rental assistance has left many Mainers without help or affordable options.

Mainers of every race, background, and ZIP code deserve a warm and safe place to call home. We believe that if we work together, we can see that happen. Only when everyone is housed will Maine reach its full potential.
