HASIDISM OLD AND NEW.

Each class session will be divided into two parts:

Part I: Readings in classic Hasidic sources, in Hebrew, following the weekly Torah cycle. The course is intended both to improve your skills in reading this literature and to discussing its contemporary meaning.

Part II: Reading and discussing the instructor's own Torah comments on the parashah, written in the neo-Hasidic spirit.
