NHS England Covid-19 vaccination team is keen that
vulnerable people are offered their Covid vaccination to ensure they have
protection from the virus during the cold winter months.
Local and
regional vaccination teams are able to provide the vaccine on site – whether
that is in a shelter, day centre or through street teams – in order to make the
process as easy and hassle-free as possible. People receiving the jab do
not need to be registered with a GP, and additional help (e.g., supportive advice,
answers to health-related questions, translation services etc) can be provided
with notice.
NHS England have advised if frontline services are
interested in finding out more about how vaccinations could be delivered to
people using their services, they should complete the survey below. Please
ensure you provide the contact details for the relevant staff member(s) in your
organisation so that NHS England can get in touch with you and support you in
making arrangements.
