Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is working with your child’s middle school to reinforce and share the importance of literacy and the joy of reading! RIF is the nation’s largest nonprofit children’s literacy organization. Through this initiative, your child(ren) will get to choose three books to take home and own, participate in a school-wide reading engagement challenge, and celebrate reading all year long. 

RIF recognizes the importance of family in a child’s reading journey, and we want to support you in creating a culture of literacy at home. We encourage you to sign up for RIF’s once-a-month text message, which provides free thematic book lists and fun reading resources and activities for you and your middle school student.
