TAMEST 2023 Annual Conference - Protégé Nomination

The TAMEST Protégé Program is designed as a mentorship tool for early-career researchers (ideally within 15 years of their first academic appointment) or early-career industry professionals who will benefit from engagement with our highly-accomplished members. TAMEST members may nominate one protégé to join them at the conference.

Your protégé will be invited to attend the 2023 TAMEST Annual Conference at the InterContinental Houston-Medical Center at the discounted rate of $75. The conference begins with an opening reception at the Houston Museum of Natural Science on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. TAMEST will also host a poster challenge exclusively for protégés (see additional information below).

Finalists will be invited to an exclusive VIP breakfast session with TAMEST leadership and special guests; networking opportunities with distinguished leaders of the Texas research and business community; and the opportunity to present their poster on the main stage to the TAMEST conference audience (five-minute presentation by finalists on May 25, 2023). Finalists also receive a post-event publicity and recognition certificate.

TAMEST staff will reach out to registered protégés with information on participating in the poster contest.
