<p>Grind 3 dead Pine tree stumps at the right side of house</p><p>Stumps are tagged with orange paint</p><p> </p><p>Grind the stump below the existing grade, leaving the roots under the soil behind. This eliminates the visible portion of the stump only. The chips & debris from the grinding will be left nearby and will not be hauled away. Because the below-grade portion of the stump is still present after stump grinding, it is not possible to plant a large tree directly over a ground stump. </p><p> </p><p>Unless requested ahead of time, you will be contacted within 5 business days of the removal to schedule the grinding, weather-dependent. </p><p> </p><p>Not all stumps can be removed by machinery- stumps located near underground utilities and obstacles, e.g. homes, fences, hardscape, etc. may not be safe to work on with equipment. </p><p>A manually operated stump grinder will be used to grind the stump(s); it is approximately the size of a riding lawnmower and can fit through a 36" wide gate under normal conditions. It is also not ideal to operate this equipment on steep slopes or over fragile hardscapes. Any changes to the scope of work will be discussed and approved with the client beforehand.</p>
