Regional Council Membership | Statement of Interest

The Pat Tillman Foundation unites and empowers remarkable military veterans and spouses as the next generation of public and private sector leaders council to service beyond self. Inspired by Pat Tillman, who proudly put his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals on hold to serve his country, family and friends established the Pat Tillman Foundation following Pat’s death in April 2004 while serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment in Afghanistan. Over the last 19 years, the Pat Tillman Foundation has supported more than 800 Tillman Scholars as they’ve furthered their education and increased their professional impact in the world.

The Regional Council is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time, talents, networks, and resources to raise awareness and financial support for the work and mission of the Pat Tillman Foundation. Regional council members have a passion for PTF’s mission and support the Foundation and its staff by utilizing their individual and collective abilities, resources, and connections. In return, the Pat Tillman Foundation provides council members exclusive access to community events and leadership & professional development opportunities. Regional Council members are a diverse group of professionals who share a desire to develop their leadership and networking skills for professional advancement and support of the Pat Tillman Foundation. These volunteers establish and promote a culture that aligns with the values of the Foundation, share a sense of personal obligation to service beyond self and act as a pipeline to develop veteran and civilian leaders in their area.
