Explore one of the most amazing places on Earth!
Spend eight adventure-filled days in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, discovering the natural world through hands-on field science. Students will design and carry out their own research projects in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
The experience includes four nights at Teton Science Schools’ historic Kelly campus, followed by a three-night frontcountry camping trip in Yellowstone—complete with wildlife, geysers, and unforgettable outdoor exploration. Perfect for curious middle schoolers ready to learn, explore, and have fun outdoors.

Program Description
Step into adventure and leadership in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem!
Over nine unforgettable days, students will explore the backcountry of Grand Teton National Park, building confidence, independence, and leadership skills along the way. Participants will canoe on mountain waters, contribute to a meaningful national park service project, tackle the Doug Walker Challenge Course, and learn the fundamentals of backpacking.
Guided by experienced educators, students will form strong connections, grow as leaders, and develop a lasting love for the outdoors during this immersive experience at Teton Science Schools.
