Thank you for your interest in the Dream.Org Tech Scholarship Fund made possible with support from Amazon and PwC Charitable Foundation, Inc. High-tech jobs, from coding new software to building new electric vehicles are the future of our economy. Too often, communities of color are being left out and left behind. The Dream.Org Tech initiative is looking to change the face of the tech industry by empowering untapped talent to enter the tech sector, whether it’s new industries like Climate tech and sustainability or traditional tech pathways like coding or cybersecurity. Dream.Org seeks to elevate people from diverse communities to position them for employment, shaping a more inclusive future while reducing negative environmental impacts that have disproportionate effects on communities of color.

Be an underrepresented person pursuing a sustainability role in the Climate Tech sector, or technology upskilling, particularly members of the Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Native American or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and Asian communities.
Should you want to pursue this Tech scholarship, there are a few types of applicants we can support:
One in pursuit of a qualified technical certification, college degree, or other within six months of the award.
One enrolled in a qualified technical certification, college degree, or other.
One who has completed a qualified technical certification, college degree, or other in the last year.
What education or upskilling source is qualified? It should be offered by one of the following:
An accredited academic institution such as a technical training program, community college, or 4-year university.
An accredited organization that is acknowledged as best in class.

Applicants must reside within 30 miles of Visalia, Fresno, Merced, Hanford-Corcoran, Modesto, Stockton, Madera, Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, El Centro & Bakersfield, CA, or Americus, Columbus, Milledgeville, Cordele & Albany, GA, or Selma, & Talladega-Sylacauga, AL, or Eufaula, AL-GA, or El Paso, McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, & Rio Grande City-Roma, TX, or Orangeburg, SC, Kennewick-Richland, WA, Martin, TN, West Point, MS, Lewistown, PA, Salisbury, MD-DE, Bradford, PA, and Torrington, CT. Applicants outside these areas will be prioritized, but all are welcome to apply!
