Program Title: LABS (Lustgarten Advancing Breakthrough Science) Program
The LABS (Lustgarten Advancing Breakthrough Science) Program provides long-term funding to promote the development of innovative ideas and speed the pace of discovery by incentivizing interdisciplinary team science. The goals of the program include:
- Support the best scientists at the forefront of pancreatic cancer research
- Enable them to pursue high-risk, high-reward research and build multi-disciplinary teams
- Advance research in key understudied areas while fostering collaboration by supporting teams of investigators at a single institute and leveraging financial and non-financial resources by requiring matching institutional support
- Drive continuous development toward patient impact
