Welcome College Horizons alumniThank you for your interest in the College Horizons Scholars Pathway Program (SPP). The SPP is open to CH alumni only and there are limited spots for each program:

Rising First-Years: 
1-week Transition-to-College Bridge Program | July 15-22, 2023

Rising College Sophomores
1-week Introduction to Indigenous Research Methods | July 15-22, 2023

  • Program Location: Lawrence University in Appleton, WI
  • Eligibility: The Scholars Pathway Program is only open to the following individuals: (1) College Horizons alumni who are current seniors graduating from high school and confirmed to start college for Fall 2023, and (2) College Horizons alumni who are current rising sophomores or juniors in college.
  • Program Cost: The Scholars Pathway Program is free. Every student who is admitted will have expenses covered and there is no cost to participate.

2023 CH Scholars (Transition-to-College Bridge Program) for Rising First-Years 

Program Dates: July 15-22, 2023
(All 2023 programming will be in-person)

The program is one week long and is limited to 20 students. In order to be considered for the CH Scholars Program, you must submit a complete online application form, which includes the following components:
    • Personal information and preferences
    • College choice and start date
    • College admission outcomes
    • Short essay answer responses
    • Uploaded copy of high school transcript
    • (Optional) Upload copy of your official ACT/SAT scores. You may either scan or take clear pictures of each document and upload in .JPG, .PNG, or .PDF format.
    • Waiver Forms
Cost of Program: Every student who is admitted will have expenses covered and there is no cost to participate.

Eligibility: To be eligible, each student must

    • Be a College Horizons alumni
    • Be a rising first-year college student at an accredited community college, tribal college/university, or a 4-year institution
    • Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
    • Submit a completed application

You must also sign and submit the following online waivers - some are included in this online application and some will be sent upon admission through Camp Doc:

The program is one week long and is limited to 20 students. Applicants are required to participate for the entire program, late arrivals or early departures are not allowed. Please plan accordingly and receive the appropriate permission from work, internship, or academic leave.

Cost of Program: Every student who is admitted will have expenses covered and there is no cost to participate. Admitted participants will receive a $550 stipend for participation.


Eligibility: To be eligible, each student must,

  • Be a College Horizons and/or Scholars Program alumni
  • Be a rising college sophomore or junior at an accredited community college, tribal college/university, or 4 year institution
  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Submit a completed application

2023 Cancellation Agreement 

(for Rising College Sophomores & Juniors applying to Indigenous Research Methods Applicants Only)

    I understand that if I can no longer participate in the Scholars Program by June 9, 2023, I will notify the Scholars Program Director (scholars@collegehorizons.org) of my withdrawal from the program and I also understand that I will no longer be eligible for the $550 stipend if I withdraw or do not successfully complete the Scholars Program (applies to Rising Sophomore & Juniors Applicants only). I will also be responsible for paying back College Horizons for the roundtrip airline ticket purchased for the Scholars Program.


    2023 Participation Agreement

      If I am admitted to the 2023 Scholars Program, I understand I am subject to the rules of the program and I am expected to be in attendance for the entirety of the program (except for any unexpected illness or family emergency).
