Global FOREWARN Advisory Expert Groups: Application

FOREWARN is the Forecast-based Warning, Analysis, and Response Network. The network is made up of academics, scientists, risk analysts and humanitarian actors, and forms part of the anticipatory action technical support package available to Start Network member NGOs seeking to act earlier against predictable risks.

The main objective of FOREWARN is to support Start Network members, and their partners, to have an improved understanding of expert analysis so that they can effectively use quality risk information in advance of crises.

The global FOREWARN Advisory Expert Groups are hazard-focused and have a specific advisory role and provide technical anticipatory action support to Start Network members and decision-makers. For more information about this role, please see the Expert Groups Terms of Reference and flyer.
