Thank you for applying to the M² Cleveland Educators Cohort, an exciting Cleveland-wide initiative for professional development. The application below is intended as a way for us to learn about who you are, your aspirations as a Jewish educator, and your experiences.
The Cleveland Educators Cohort is designed as an 18-month experience, consisting of 3 immersive seminars, a cohort-based Community of Practice, and monthly mentorship for each participating fellow. The program is designed and delivered by M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education.
Our guiding philosophy in developing this initiative is that a diverse cohort of educators in Cleveland will experience the underlying theories and educational pedagogies in experiential education and then experience, process and deduce learnings over time and in a supportive framework. Fellows learn from faculty as well as have opportunities to learn from and challenge each other. Our aim is that each fellow will ultimately walk away with enhanced learning, new language, and invaluable skills and tools to apply in their work, and that each institution will be strengthened to offer more effective educational programs.
Please note that seminars are overnight immersive gatherings and communities of practice are half-day local meetings, and ensure that you are available on the following programmatic dates:
