The following form will ask you for some details about your venue and any available technical equipment such as lighting and sound systems.

This information is necessary to know which shows will be a great fit for your venue, and to support you and your committee to prepare to present shows that you have booked. We will also share this information with artists and companies on our program who are touring to your venue, so that they know what to expect. This all helps to ensure a fantastic presenting, performing and audience experience all round!

If you are unsure about any questions, or if you would like assistance completing this form please contact Connecting Places Coordinator, Nikki Ralston, 0458 765 059 or nralston@rav.net.au

Please complete this form for the venue that you plan to present a Regional Arts Victoria touring show in. If you present work in more than one venue, and you may book Regional Arts Victoria shows for more than one venue, please talk to the Connecting Places Coordinator to ensure we have all relevant venue information on file.

Technical Contact Person (ie. the person in your organisation that manages the use of the venue/ equipment)

Edit section title
The following information about your Stage door location and dimensions will help us understand what large items (props/sets/rigging) can be brought into your venue and how.

Technical Equpment

Please complete as much of the following as you can. If you do not have any of the equipment listed, or if you are not sure - no problem! - just write N/A or Don't Know in the comment boxes. Connecting Places shows are designed to tour into spaces with minimal technical equipment, but knowing as much as we can about what our venues do and don't have really helps us, and our touring artists, to plan ahead and provide the best experience possible.

Please note that all portable electrical equipment used in the venue must be tested and tagged according to AS/NZ 3760 standards

Venue plans and images

Finally (we're almost there!) we'd like to ask you to upload a performance space plan, a venue plan, and some photos of the inside and outside of the venue.

This is really helpful for planning purposes and will ensure that artists can come to your venue ready and prepared for a smooth bump-in, performance, and bump out process.

However, if you don't currently have a performance space plan and a venue plan please don't worry - let us know below and we'll stay in touch so you can take some time to prepare these plans and get them to us later!

Example of a performance space plan including seating layout, tech desk location, wheelchair accessible seating, lighting bars, change areas and stage dimensions.

Please upload an image for each of the following (please skip features/fixtures/equipment if you do not have any)
