The “We Make Chalcots Kit” gives money and support to residents from the Chalcots Estate who have great ideas for their community.
The community fund will celebrate the creativity, talent and knowledge of Chalcots residents by giving grants (money) of up to £2,000 to individuals to run projects that aim to increase the diversity of people in positions of power within the community.
This includes, but is not limited to, making leadership positions more accessible and inclusive to people from a wide range of backgrounds by removing traditional barriers to entry and to develop and promote modern and inclusive leadership spaces.
The kit has been designed to enable the quick and easy delivery of citizen and community- led activity.
Camden residents will be supported by Camden Giving to receive support with insurance, safeguarding and connections to make their ideas a success.
Eligibility
The fund is open to applications from Camden citizens from the Chalcots Community that deliver activities for charitable purposes.
Camden Giving will not consider awarding you any additional grants from our We Make Camden Kit grant until you have completed and submitted your end of project report for your first grant. You must complete this before submitting any further applications.
