Young people in Camden face complex issues: youth services are being cut, youth violence is rising and young people often speak of feeling shut-out and being powerless.
Funders have the power to dictate what services are provided for young people, but grant-givers often lack lived experience of the issues facing Camden’s young people. A new cohort of 12 young people from Camden, aged 16-25 have come together to outline what are the most pressing issues their community face and have co-designed this application form with us reflecting and representing the points of view of young people in Camden.
But things have changed...
This is no longer the fund you may know (and love) as the 'Future Changemakers'. To better tackle the issues young people are facing, the 'Youth Futures Fund' has launched to disrupt the system and challenge you (as organisations working with and alongside young people) to think about your longer term ambitions for young people in Camden.

The panel are welcoming proposals which centre around three key issues:
1) Projects aimed at addressing the root causes of youth violence
2) Projects working with young people to take back ownership of space in Camden
3) Projects that will address the injustices and/or inaccessibility experienced by young people in Camden due to poverty
NOTE: This fund is only available to organisations with an income of up to £2m, whom are based in Camden and are 'rooted in Camden' (where 50% of their staff teams or 50% trustees live in borough). We'd suggest thoroughly reading through the fund page on our website and the young people's blog before applying.
You are able to apply for grants of up to £30,000 per year for 3 years
We will only accept applications from organisations that deliver activities for charitable purposes, for example registered charities, CICs, CIOs, TRAs and private companies limited by guarantee without share capital.
The closing date for this funding round is Monday 24th April 2023 at 5:00pm
You can save your application at any time throughout the process. We encourage you to save an offline version of your application (e.g. in a Word document) to avoid losing your work.
