Master class fees are included in a combined flat rate with Student Exams. Presenting Teachers are strongly encouraged to schedule Master Classes for the levels that were presented for exams. Presenting Teachers are asked to observe Master Classes. Master Classes must be requested on the 2024 Exam Request Form in order to be included in the schedule. Master Classes that are not requested to be scheduled cannot be refunded.

Presenting Teachers


Teachers must be currently certified in the levels they are presenting. In the event that the Presenting Teacher's ABT Certification has lapsed, please email curriculum@abt.org to pay the $100 renewal fee plus a $25 maintenance fee.
Examination Policies and Fees
Primary, Level 1:
  • Class - 1 hr
  • Master class - 1 hr
  • Max - 12 students
  • Rate - $525 or $550 for exam + master class

Level 2:
  • Class - 1 hr 15 min
  • Master class - 1 hr
  • Max - 12 students
  • Rate - $575 for exam + master class

Level 3, including pointe: 
  • Class - 1 hr 45 min
  • Master class - 1 hr 30 min
  • Max - 12 students
  • Rate - $600 for exam + master class

Levels 4 and 5, including pointe:
  • Class - 2 hrs
  • Master class - 1.5 hrs or 2 hrs
  • Max - 10 students
  • Rate - $600 or $700 for exam + master class

Levels 6 and 7, including pointe:
  • Class - 2 hrs
  • Master class - 2 hrs
  • Max - 10 students
  • Rate - $750 for exam + master class

Policies:
  • The flat rate applies to scheduling ABT Student Examinations and includes a Master Class.
  • Master Class (optional) must be requested in order to be scheduled. Master Classes are scheduled within a 2-week timeframe of exams.
  • In the event that the presenting teacher chooses to submit separate exam videos, a $50 fee per additional video would apply.

Acknowledgement and Agreement
I agree to adhere to the ABT Student Examination Guidelines and Class Plans when presenting students for examination. Candidates further agree that by doing the Examination they accept that the Examiner’s decision is final.

A $100 deposit is required for all Student Examination requests. If ABT is able to accommodate your request, this deposit will be applied to your examination fees. Only if ABT is unable to accommodate your requested dates, the deposit will be refunded.  Please note: Examiners are assigned at the discretion of ABT NTC Staff; specific examiners may not be requested. If you choose to withdraw your request once it has been approved or your request does not meet the above guidelines, you will forfeit the deposit.

I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless ABT and/or the agents/employees and directors of this institution (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) for any loss, claim, damage, suit, costs or expenses, including attorneys’ fees and court costs, resulting from or arising out of any injury to any person or damage to property, caused by or incurred by myself, or whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Indemnified Parties, incurred as a result of or during the Online Student Exams, Master Classes or any activities in connection with the ABT National Training Curriculum.
