Get ready to SPLASH into creativity at Inner-City Arts! Kids completing grades K-5 are invited to our full-day, two-week program where their creativity will blossom through the visual, performing, and media arts with experienced teaching artists. Please fill out this form to pre-register for our Institutes Program. After completion, every family must also attend Enrollment Day in person to confirm each child's participation and make payments where applicable. Program Details

Welcome to pre-registration for our Summer SPLASH 2026!


Classes take place Monday-Friday, June 15-26. (The program will not meet June 19 when campus is closed for the Juneteenth holiday.)


Please review the important details below before completing the pre-registration form.


REGISTRATION, ENROLLMENT, AND CLASS FEES

All fees will be collected during in-person enrollment. All families who qualify for tuition waiver, please be prepared to provide proof of income with an income tax return or a program identification card listed on the waiver requirements linked above.


To participate in the summer program, students must have already completed kindergarten during the 2025–2026 school year.


Please bring one of the following as verification on Enrollment Day:

  • A copy of your child’s kindergarten report card or progress report
  • A letter from your child’s school confirming completion of kindergarten
  • An official school enrollment verification document

If you miss Enrollment Day, you must email programs@inner-cityarts.org or call 213.627-9621 x122 to arrange a time to come to campus before the first day of class, June 15.


COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM

  • Parents, make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as the student being registered.
  • Once you complete the form, you will receive an email with next steps toward completing the student's enrollment in person at Inner-City Arts.

Please note that all art classes will be taught in English.


DATES TO REMEMBER

  • April 11: All families must come in-person to Enrollment Day at Inner-City Arts, 9-11 a.m. for your child(ren)'s enrollment to be complete. In-person enrollment is required and will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. During Enrollment Day, staff will assist in enrolling your child(ren) in the appropriate group(s) for summer and collect payments.
  • June 15: Classes begin
  • June 26: Culmination showcase for friends and family

All students are expected to be present and to participate in all days of studio instruction or to notify the Programs team in advance of any unavoidable absence.

Acceptable Use Agreeement
Please read and review with the student registering for the Inner-City Arts Institutes Program. By acknowledging below, you (parent/guardian) and the student understand the following:  1) I am responsible for respecting myself and others. A) I will use appropriate language when communicating with members of the Inner-City Arts community, including on all electronic communications platforms (audio recording, social media posts, and chat rooms). B) I will report cyber-bullying or inappropriate technology use to my teaching artist or a trusted adult. C) I understand that cyber-bullying and any behavior threatening the safety of others is prohibited. D) I will respect the voice of all members of the Inner-City Arts community. 2) I am responsible for the care of Inner-City Arts technology and equipment. A) I will maintain the original set up of all technology devices distributed to me by Inner-City Arts and only download software approved by my teaching artist. B) I will protect all equipment from all liquid substances that will cause damage or destroy the property. 3) I am responsible for keeping personal information private. A) I will not share personal information about others, including but not limited to, images, artwork, Inner-City Arts provided usernames, passwords, and log-in information. B) I will be aware of privacy settings on websites that I visit.
Drop/no show policy
Class fees are non-refundable. If a student misses the first day of class without prior notice to program administration, the student may lose enrollment in that class without any option for refund.
Class cancellation Policy
Inner-City Arts endeavors to not cancel a class. In the event that a teaching artist is unable to teach, a substitute will be provided to lead the class. If we are not able to provide a substitute that is a comparable art form, the participant/parent/guardian will be notified in a timely manner via the email and/or phone number provided on this registration form.

Transportation Waiver & Release of Liability

The following statements must be read and acknowledged by a parent/guardian of any participant under the age of 18. Submission of this form verifies acknowledgment of all sections below in conjunction with the email address associated with the parent/guardian or student age 18 and over.

I acknowledge and agree that my child will be signed in and out upon my child’s arrival and departure from the Inner-City Arts. I further acknowledge and agree that:
  1. The driver of the vehicle in which my child is riding, either as driver or passenger, is not driving on behalf of, or as an agent of, Inner-City Arts, and that Inner-City Arts has not verified the driving record of the driver, the liability insurance on the vehicle, or the condition of the vehicle;
  2. Inner-City Arts is in no way responsible for, nor does Inner-City Arts assume any liability for, any injury or loss which may result from my child’s transportation.
