Campus and Grade
The Jackson Campus is located in Jackson, WY and offers Young Toddler (18 months)-8th grade.
The Teton Valley Campus is located in Victor, ID and offers preschool-8th grade.

The Young Toddler and Toddler Program is only offered at the Jackson Campus. 





Young Toddler / Toddler 
The young toddler program (age 18-24 months) / toddler (age 24-36 months) has three enrollment options:  
2-day Tuesday/Thursday
3-day Monday/Wednesday/Friday 
5-day Monday-Friday

Please indicate which option you would prefer.  The school will try to accommodate these preferences but cannot guarantee that your preferred choices will be available.


Preschool
The preschool program (age 3) has three enrollment options:  
2-day Tuesday/Thursday
3-day Monday/Wednesday/Friday 
5-day Monday-Friday

For the Jackson Campus, children must be 3 years old by August 1st to join preschool.
For the Teton Valley Campus, children must be 3 years old by September 1st to join preschool.

Prekindergarten
The prekindergarten program (age 4) has four enrollment options:

3-day Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
4-day Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 
5-day Monday-Friday

Process Details
At Mountain Academy of Teton Science Schools, our admissions process is structured to assess the academic and social readiness of your student, as well as their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.  We take many factors into account in order to make an admissions decision and do not rely on one metric to make decisions. In addition to this application, we require other supplemental components listed below, depending on the grade level of your student. 

You may choose to upload these now or to send them in at a later time. After receiving your initial application, our admissions office will email you to let you know what the next steps are and the materials that they still need from you.

Instructions for Writing Sample
These questions are for your student to answer. They may handwrite on a piece of paper and then scan/take a picture of the paper or type in a document. When finished, please use the Choose File button at the bottom to upload the responses.

1. What is something you are curious about?
2. Think of an important person in your life. Who is this person and why are they important to you? 
3. Please share what you feel are your biggest challenges in school.
4. Please describe a project, inside or outside of school, that you have enjoyed.
5. Mountain Academy values are know as "The Three T's: Treat with Respect, Try Hard, and Take Responsibility." Please describe how you demonstrate one of these three traits.

1st-5th Grade
  • 1 Teacher Recommendation Form (Grades 1-5)
  • A signed release of records form
  • Transcripts and report cards from the current and past year
  • Standardized testing results
  • Educational/Psychological testing: Any students who has received special accommodations, have documented support plans or who have had any educational/phycological testing done are asked to submit testing and support plans.
