At New Memphis, we are in the business of activating leaders to make change in Memphis. We do this is by connecting our program alumni and network of leaders to key opportunities to build capacity for nonprofit organizations; one specific way is through pro bono consulting. 

Every day, nonprofits do the hard work of building and sustaining community. When they thrive, Memphis thrives. By making professional consulting services accessible to organizations regardless of the agency's mission or size, we are enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of nonprofits. 

Based on the needs of each project, New Memphis will match consultants with non-profit organizations creating effective working relationships with specific outcomes, measurable deliverables, and meaningful impact. Services and resources are provided with a commitment to confidentiality, transparency, adaptability, professionalism, and respectful communication to our volunteers and the non-profit agencies we serve. 

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to give back to your community using your unique skills and career experience while also supporting New Memphis in delivering on our mission to help Memphis live into its full potential!

Give Back Memphis and New Memphis joined forces in July 2023 to support local nonprofits through pro bono consulting. New Memphis has been empowering and connecting the city's leaders, inspiring them to create positive community change since 1979.

  • I will not accept compensation from an organization while I am working on that organization's project for New Memphis.
  • I will complete a brief survey at the end of the project and be available for follow-up six months and one year after the project is completed.
