Thank you for your interest in the Creative Entrepreneur Cohort, a program of Capitol View Arts.
This Cohort is designed for visual artists who plan to exhibit in the East Austin Studio Tour and desire to participate in a fast-paced, comprehensive business training program from May to November 2024.
An artist must have general availability for cohort meetings on Wednesday evenings from May to November from 6:30-8:30 pm. (Some weeks there will be no group meeting and artists will be working independently on individual goals.)
For this application, you will need to complete all of the required questions and submit work samples and your résumé or CV (Resume or CV - 3 pages max).
Eligible applicants must be:
- Residents of Austin or surrounding counties of Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Llano, Travis, and Williamson who are able to attend in-person training sessions in Austin.
- Practicing artists currently working professionally and/or looking to make their artistic and creative endeavors into a sustainable business venture.
All application materials are due no later than Friday, May 17. Applications received after this time may not be considered.
There is no fee to apply.
