The Moms with OCD Special Interest Group recently announced leadership changes, with the previous leaders stepping down. We at the IOCDF are deeply grateful for their work in building this community and raising awareness about maternal OCD.
New co-leaders have taken over and are expanding the group's focus to the broader perinatal OCD community, including pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, with an increased emphasis on advocacy, education, and clinician training. Membership will now include both individuals with lived experience and clinicians.
Given growing public attention on perinatal mental health, the group sees this as an important time to strengthen education, reduce stigma, and improve access to care. More details will be shared later this fall.
