Summer 2024 in Central Texas (Exact Dates and Location TBD)


TNOYS is seeking dedicated volunteers ages 21 and over to join us at PEAKS Camp! Volunteers will lead camp activities and group discussions with children in foster care, as well as assist with monitoring meals, event/activity prep, and general support to ensure the camp's success! Lodging and meals will be provided.


PEAKS consists of two camp sessions: one in the first half of the week, and one in the second half of the week. We are seeking volunteers to staff each session. Learn more on the PEAKS webpage and flier. 


Volunteers must attend a mandatory two-hour training prior to camp. Please email peaks@tnoys.org if you have questions.

Agreements
Volunteers will not be paid for performing general volunteer services and are required to:
  • Assist other facilitators or camp manager
  • Help ensure the success of camp activities
  • Perform set up and clean up duties for group activities
  • Interact with and lead activities with youth and their adult sponsors
