As part of our commitment to helping our Oakland college-bound students in their professional development, Oakland Promise recruits Volunteers each year to serve as a Mentor to 1-2 students. The program is a two-year commitment that aims to help students navigate their start in college.

Professionals ready to support a student in the Oakland community can learn more about the program's expectations and requirements in the Fall when our Mentor Info Sessions are offered! We also provide professional development workshops and networking events as you volunteer your time with us.
