Host Organization
The host organization is the library, school, museum, family resource center, or other eligible youth-serving organization to which Humanities Washington awards the Prime Time Grant, and which assumes responsibility for fulfilling the provisions of the grant contract.

An Authorizing Official at the host organization signs the Prime Time Grant contract, and a Finance Officer at the host organization receives the grant payment.

The host organization may or may not be one of the institutions that directly implements a Prime Time series, such as a library or school.

The Applicant is the person completing this application on behalf of the host organization.





Authorizing Official
The Authorizing Official is responsible for signing the Prime Time Grant contract on behalf of the host organization.




Finance Officer
The Finance Officer is responsible for receiving payment of the Prime Time Grant on behalf of the host organization.




Financial Support
All Washington State public libraries, elementary schools, museums, family resource centers, and other youth-serving organizations are eligible to apply and submit multiple applications.

  • While sessions with families are generally one hour, teams often meet before and after family-attended sessions.
Please confirm that the program host can supply a safe and secure online meeting environment for more than two hours each week for six weeks.
