Position Description
Young Judaea is seeking six dynamic, friendly, and outgoing Campus Ambassadors to engage alumni on their current college campuses. This is a great opportunity for students who love Young Judaea to take a leadership role on their college campus and engage fellow YJ alumni through events and activities.
Responsibilities
Host one in-person YJ alumni event in community/campus per semester (2x per year)
Collaborate with other Young Judaea Ambassadors to host one Zoom event for Young Judaea alumni during school year
Keep record of alumni on campus, including collecting contact information
Attend two zoom meetings with other campus ambassadors two times per semester (4x per year)
Meet with supervisor (in-person or Zoom) at the beginning of each semester to discuss alumni engagement plan
Engage in a WhatsApp group with other Young Judaea Student Ambassadors to collaborate/brainstorm
Work with Hillel or other Jewish groups on campus to identify Judeans
Be a point of contact for incoming/interested Year Course participants
Qualifications
Attended a Young Judaea program within the last four years (Young Judaea camps, Year Round Programs, Gesher, Year Course, Amirim, Onward Israel, etc.)
Currently attend a college or university
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management skills
Excited about Israel and the Young Judaea movement
Compensation
$500 stipend at end of year
Up to $100 towards in-person alumni engagement events
