iFoster Smooth Transitions Referral Form CA Guaranteed Income & Other Resources

CDSS has partnered with iFoster to provided a Guaranteed Income (GI) Pilot Program for TAY exiting the extended foster care program at age 21.

iFoster will disburse $750 per month for 18 months to 300 qualifying individuals. Individuals will be selected for receipt of GI using random assignment, or a lottery, as it is expected that more people will apply than the program funding will allow. iFoster will provide resource navigation services including benefits counseling and application support to all youth regardless of eligibility for or enrollment in GI pilot program.
