To qualify for an income based rate, participants must
provide proof of income. Acceptable forms of income include:
- Most Recent Tax Return (Form 1040, not your W2). For events after April 2025 please submit your 2025 Tax Return (i.e. 2026 Richmond Marathon applicants need to submit 2025 tax returns).
Other accepted qualifying documentation:
- Verification/Eligibility
letter from Social Services (EBT, SNAP, TANF, Energy Assistance Benefits,
Medicaid, etc.)
