AFS Grant for Short Films
THE AFS GRANT FOR SHORTS DEADLINE HAS PASSED. AFS IS ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE HARRISON MCCLURE ENDOWED FUND. THE DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2023 AT 11:59PM.

Please note that this application, with a deadline of Monday, September 11, 2023 (CLOSED EXCEPT FOR HARRISON MCCLURE APPLICATIONS), is for short film projects only. The 2023 application cycle for the AFS Grant for Feature Films has already passed and will return in Spring 2024.

CASH AWARDS / GRANTS
Applicants can apply for either the AFS Grant Cash Award (up to $10,000) or the Harrison McClure Endowed Film Fund (a flat $2,500 for an undergraduate student project). Applicants cannot be considered for both funds. (Reference the Application Instructions and Tip Sheet for more information.)

VIDEO SAMPLE
Work samples can be no longer than 6 minutes. If you would like to submit a full film or more video material in addition to your 6-minute sample, you may include a second sample in the "Additional Supporting Video Material" field below. You must include a password protected link with your video samples (all samples in one timeline, so one link per project).





You may submit more film work as additional support material. This additional material does not have a time limit and can be a full feature film or short. Include a link to this material below.
