Are You Eligible?

Applicants must be:

Renters in Unincorporated Alameda County, if you're not sure if you live in Unincorporated Alameda County follow this link to the community locator. (Please note that applications for units outside of Unincorporated Alameda County are ineligible)
A low-income individual or household (below 80% AMI)
Experienced financial hardship during or due, directly or indirectly, to the COVID-19 pandemic
Experiencing housing instability or a risk of homelessness

Households that meet the eligibility criteria can receive rent and utility assistance for up to 15 months for back rent due after April 1, 2020.

Funding is limited, and applications will be prioritized based on need, severity of COVID-19 impact, and funding availability. If you are eligible for assistance, you will be contacted by an application processor to verify your information.
