4th Annual ELEVATE

The Seattle Theatre Group is seeking young black + brown artists from all backgrounds and experience levels to participate in 2024

ELEVATE.

Seeking spoken word artists, poets, creative writers, monologuist, songwriters, speech writers and more!

AGES: 14- 20

Young Artists will work with local mentors
Perform at The Neptune Theatre
All participants receive a stipend for participating in the program and any additional performance

Requirements:

Attend all scheduled rehearsals created by mentor
Create a collaborative spoken word piece
Block off June 11-13, 2024, for ON SITE rehearsals at The Neptune Theatre

STG requires proof of vaccination for entry to all venues and participating programs linked to Seattle Theatre Group. Only children under 12, and people with a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination, may participate without proof of vaccination. Individuals who meet those criteria must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test (date of negative PCR test result must be within 48 hours of performance time). Additionally, masking is required inside the venue. Program participants will be required to wear masks, except while actively eating or drinking.
