If you’re not comfortable screening Honour to Senator Murray Sinclair, then we’d suggest borrowing a different film from our Lending Library instead. If you’d like to watch a filmmaker discussion, you can also order recordings of any of our past livestreams.

Either of these options are still a great way to participate in National Canadian Film Day, and you’ll still gain access to our screening kit and any corresponding lesson plans.

For Returning Teachers


If you already participated in either of the first two livestreams earlier this school year, and would like to screen them for a new cohort of students, please write to contactus@reelcanada.ca to request a new link to the film(s). Please be sure to specify:
 
- Which livestream(s) and film(s) you'd like access to

- What date you'd like to activate the film streaming links (valid for seven days each) 

- How many students would be participating 

- Your school name 


Teachers should screen Honour to Senator Murray Sinclair for their students within 1-2 weeks prior to when they will watch the livestream discussion.

Note: While you're watching, the media player will automatically adjust the video resolution according to your internet strength, so you will see the film with smooth playback.  

In addition to your DVD, we will also provide a streaming link as a backup measure, so we'd ask you to please sign off on both confirmations below.

5. HELP KEEP OUR PROGRAMME FREE



It's a condition of our funding from the federal government that we ask the following demographic questions, in order to ensure we're reaching diverse audiences. This information allows us to continue offering our programme completely free of charge! Please rest assured that the demographic information will only be reported in aggregate, along with percentage data from the hundreds of schools we serve each year. 

If you don't know exact percentages, that's absolutely fine – rough estimates are perfectly acceptable. 

If you're strongly opposed to answering any of the demographic questions, please email contactus@reelcanada.ca, so we can submit your registration manually.
