Interested in becoming a Central Maine CA$H Tax Volunteer in early 2024?
Central Maine CA$H volunteers will provide free tax preparation assistance to people in Kennebec and Somerset counties from January through March 2024. As a tax volunteer, you could participate at the coalition level with
administrative and volunteer recruitment tasks and/or help in a more direct volunteer role as a
greeter
supporting the intake process, as an
opportunity guide
offering financial education, or as a
tax preparer
filing taxes
either in-person at scheduled events or from the comfort of your own home, based on preference.
Free training is provided to volunteers—no experience needed!
