College Horizons is a college admissions summer workshop for American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian 10th and 11th grade students that assists with the college application/financial aid process. Participants will develop a college list, complete the Common Application, write drafts of their personal statement, learn about the financial aid process, complete scholarship searches, and receive ACT/SAT test-taking strategies. College Horizons is intended for college-bound students with a minimum 3.00 GPA in core academic subjects and is not a remedial, bridge, alternative or academic supplementary program.
We ask students to select one teacher in a core academic subject from this current 2023-24 academic year (i.e. Math, Science, History, English, or Indigenous/Foreign Language) to fill out this recommendation form on their behalf. The contact info you provide will not be shared with any third parties - if we have questions regarding your recommendation, we will reach out using the info provided below.
