In order to apply for the Level 5 Diploma, you must be in a Practice Leadership or senior position. By Practice Leadership, we are referring to those who support and supervise others in direct practice in order to develop their skills and understanding. You must also work in direct practice yourself on a regular basis and have meaningful contact with your focus person. If you are office based only in a senior operational role, the Level 5 in Practice Leadership would not be suitable.

Conversion to Level 5

This practice-based qualification would be beneficial for anyone who has previously completed the BTEC Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support with Bild or equivalent. We would be delighted to welcome learners who may want to complete Positive Behaviour Support Diploma Units only (3 units). Once an application is submitted for this course the applicant will be requested to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning and complete a form. This will be checked and if they meet the criteria, they will then receive confirmation of acceptance for this course.

I understand that I am required to complete all learning, work-based practice activities, revision and assessment activities by the unit completion date given in my timetable. I understand that if I do not meet the agreed Unit completion dates, and an extension or deferral agreement is not in place, I may be suspended from accessing all Bild systems and my employer informed. I understand that any learning and assessment services provided by Bild beyond the unit completion date will be charged for at £400 a unit.
