We’re casting our line and looking to reel in a group of military kids in Jacksonville to participate in a Junior Ranger Angler Fishing Clinic at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park! This event is brought to you by Blue Star Families, the National Park Service, and Timucuan Parks Foundation. 🎣 One -hour fishing clinic with stations where you'll learn about ethical angling, knot tying, casting, and fishing

🎣Meet the Gullah Geechee people and learn about African American fishing experiences and traditions

🎣 Watch a demonstration from the Gullah Geechee people and a National Park Service volunteer as they demonstrate the traditional Timucuan fishing technique

🎣 Each child will take home a brand new Zebco fishing pole after the clinic is complete 


**Please note that if your child is 16 or older, they will be required to have a fishing license to take part in the clinic.**
