Any applicant who is a primary or secondary school student and resides at least 200km from Sydney CBD is eligible to apply for scholarship to participate in Summer and Winter School.

The next questions below request details of your financial situation to be assessed for eligibility for support towards a Travel and Accommodation Bursary.

SYO receives many applications each year for scholarship, and we wish to positively impact as many young people as possible!

The feedback SYO has received in recent scholarship rounds is that sometimes, parents and young musicians decline the Travel and Accommodation Bursary so SYO may use the support to benefit musicians who have a greater need.
