Program Logistics:
Talent Edge is a virtual program that will run from the week of January 29th through the week of March 11th. We are offering 4 different program cohort meeting times that you can see below. In this application we will ask about your availability for all.
- Cohort 1: Tuesdays, 3 - 4:30 PM PT / 5 - 6:30PM CT / 6 - 7:30PM ET
- Cohort 2: Tuesdays, 5 - 6:30 PM PT / 7 - 8:30PM CT / 8 - 9:30PM ET
- Cohort 3: Wednesdays, 3 - 4:30 PM PT / 5 - 6:30PM CT / 6 - 7:30PM ET
- Cohort 4: Wednesdays, 5 - 6:30 PM PT / 7 - 8:30PM CT / 8 - 9:30PM ET
Eligibility for College Pathways Students (Discover AI + Apply AI):
- Must NOT have participated in Talent Edge previously
- You completed College Pathways Apply AI program during or prior to spring 2023
You will be a college sophomore or junior in fall 2023
Eligibility for High School Summer Program Students:
- Must NOT have participated in Talent Edge previously
- You will be a college sophomore or junior in fall 2023
- Participated in an AI4ALL High School Summer Program
- Completed a Changemakers Portfolio Project OR have experience with all of the following:
- Intermediate Python programming
- Algorithmic problem-solving
- Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms (Supervised, Unsupervised, and Reinforcement)
- Basic understanding of linear and logistic classification/regression
- High-level understanding of Neural Networks
