Please complete this expression of interest form to be considered for a transport only volunteer role with Wildlife Victoria. 


To be eligible for a Wildlife Victoria volunteering role, you must: 

  • be 18 years or older; 
  • hold a current Australian Drivers License and have access to a registered and insured motor vehicle; 
  • complete the required level of Wildlife Victoria online transport and compliance training;
  • meet and agree to all other terms set out in this application form. 

Please note: 

Progressing applicants will be required to participate in a short phone interview to assess their capabilities, attributes, and/or suitability for the role. A member of the People Services team will contact you directly.

Volunteer Availability  

Wildlife Victoria requires volunteers to nominate a minimum window of 4 hours per week that they are available to volunteer their time, and during that time we expect that they will endeavor to undertake a minimum of 25 cases per 3 months (about 2 per week on average).

** You can text STOP/START at any time if you are on holidays or wish to take a short break. 
If your day-to-day availability changes in the future, you will also have the ability to change it yourself at any time, or contact our admin team to edit your ongoing availability on your behalf.

Next Steps 

If your application to volunteer with Wildlife Victoria as a transporter is successful in progressing to the next stage, a member of the Wildlife Victoria team will reach out to you asap to conduct a phone screen.

If your application progresses after the phone screen, we will advise you of how to make payment and then how to access and complete your online training.

If you are unsuccessful in progressing to the next stage, we will be in touch to advise as soon as possible.
