Please fill out this form if you are interested in joining the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) Western NY & Finger Lakes Volunteer Base.


The NYIC is an umbrella policy & advocacy organization that represents immigrant and refugee rights groups throughout New York. As the New York Immigration Coalition continues to expand its reach across the State of New York, we are eager to develop our volunteer base in Western New York (WNY) and the Finger Lakes Region (FLX) to ensure we effectively address the needs of the communities we serve. Volunteer roles may include but are not limited to:
  • Logistics: Set-up / Breakdown, registration, resource distribution

  • Interpretation: Spanish, French, Haitian-Creole & more
  • Legal Services: Assist with intake processes and/or, completing immigration forms under the supervision of a licensed attorney (i.e. TPS, EADs, Asylum)
To be part of this volunteer base, you must (more requirements may be added in the future) :

  • 18 years of age;
  • attend (or watch) a volunteer orientation;
  • and sign a volunteer agreement
Please note that this is an interest form, which means that filling out this form, does not guarantee you a spot in this volunteer base. Upon submission, we will review your form and contact you with further instructions and details on what the volunteer base will entail.
