2024 BTTI Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in attending the IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI)!

The purpose of the BTTI Scholarship Program is to increase access to OCD and related disorders treatment for underserved communities in the United States. We will be granting 5-7 scholarships per BTTI to independently licensed therapists who meet at least one (1) of the following criteria:
  • Therapists of color.
  • Therapists who practice therapy in languages other than English.
  • Therapists who work primarily with individuals of color, patients with public insurance (Medicare, Medicaid), and/or patients of a low socioeconomic status.
The scholarship reduces the fee of attending the BTTI from $650 to $100. In addition to the reduced rate for attending the BTTI, therapists will also receive a free year of membership with the IOCDF.  Scholarship preference will be granted to therapists who live in the local area where a BTTI is taking place, if it is not a virtual training. Learn more information about the BTTI.

PLEASE NOTE: There are 4 types of BTTI for which this scholarship is being offered.
  1. General BTTI which trains clinicians to individuals across the lifespan with a general focus on adult populations.
  2. Pediatric BTTI  which focuses solely on treating pediatric populations.
  3. BTTI for Treating OCD in Communities of Color which is intended for BIPOC clinicians, and features a fully BIPOC faculty.
  4. BTTI Virtual en Español, which is offered entirely in Spanish.
