Event Description
The Jewish calendar holds an untapped season for reflection –summer! As we move from the Omer to Elul, summer wanes and we arrive in autumn, finding we are just beginning to think about our goals for the year — most of us arrive at Rosh Hashanah full of intention and little else. The work of actually changing needs an invitation and a pathway. This program is the container for that work. Running from the period immediately following Shavuot through Elul, The Jewish Art of Being is a four-month self-leadership cohort that gives participants a structured, supported cycle of intention-setting, accountability, and reflection — closing just before the High Holidays begin. It draws on Intuition Strategy® — the practice of treating your own inner knowledge as a strategic asset — woven together with Jewish philosophy and wisdom about what it means to lead yourself. A leader, in this context, is anyone who makes decisions that others can follow — starting with yourself. This is an intergenerational cohort — open to all Temple Israel adults, regardless of career stage or life phase — united by a shared desire to be more intentional about how they live, lead, and grow. Jewish tradition holds rich teachings on continuous growth — the idea that moving from a fixed relationship with yourself to an open, evolving one is itself a lifelong practice. This program lives in that spirit. Intuition without action is simply a daydream. Kick-Off Workshop (Onsite): Thursday, June 4, 2026, 6-8pm, Chapel 2 Intermediary Zoom Sessions: Thursday, July 2 & 30, 2026 7pm: meet as a cohort online Closing Session (Onsite): Thursday, September 3, 6-8pm, Chapel Registration Fee (sliding scale): Tier 1: $36 Tier 2: $54 Tier 3: $72 Turn your High Holiday intentions into completed objectives with chevruta accountability and a proven self-leadership framework — What you'll learn: -How to identify 1–3 objectives that actually matter to you (not what you think you "should" want) using Intuition Strategy® frameworks and tools, coupled with timeless Jewish wisdom. -The Chevruta Accountability System — sacred study partnerships of three that keep you moving forward toward your goals even when motivation fades -How to interpret what your intuition is already telling you using the HIT Framework (Hear, Interpret, Trust) and Corporate Tarot Cards as focused abstraction tools -The simple tracking system that shows you exactly what's working at monthly check-ins…and what to shift before the next cycle (and year!)
