HOLA Application

Thank you for your interest in sending your camper(s) to Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures (HOLA) this year.

HOLA is a 5-week day camp for students in Boston Public Schools (BPS). It runs from Monday, July 7–Friday, August 8, 2025.

Our program operates Monday–Friday at Hale Education in Westwood, MA.
The camp day runs from 8:45 AM–3:45 PM.
We offer bus transportation, breakfast, and lunch at no cost to campers.

Eligibility

HOLA campers must be:

Rising 3rd - 9th graders (school year 2025–2026)
enrolled in Boston Public Schools (with active BPS ID#)
able to attend all 5 weeks of HOLA

Applications are reviewed and accepted in order of submission.
We offer priority to applicants from our partner schools, and then enroll students outside of those schools as capacity allows.
We are only able to enroll so many campers each year. After April 1 your camper may be added to a waitlist if spaces are filled. If space becomes available, a Hale staff member will contact the waitlisted applicant.

COMMITMENT TO CAMP

We at Hale are so proud of our HOLA program and the impact it has on not only the lives of our camper but on everyone involved with the program. This program operates for 5 weeks which allows for genuine relationship building, growth in academic skills, confidence, perseverance, and so much more.

In order to accomplish this, we ask that our families fully commit to HOLA. Five weeks may seem like a bit of a commitment, but our funding (and your camper's development) is dependent on consistent participation. If you anticipate travel or have other summer activities lined up, we ask that you consider a different Hale Summer Camp or apply for HOLA in a future season. This ensures every open spot is fully enjoyed by a camper who can join us for all five weeks.

We will then officially enroll you into our system. The next step will be camper paperwork and bus registration.
