NJ Arts Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C.
NJ Arts Advocacy Day (NJAAD) will take place in-person on Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Washington, DC. NJAAD is an annual event organized by ArtPride.
A delegation of advocates, accompanied by ArtPride staff, travels to the United States Capitol in order to represent the state of New Jersey. This is an opportunity to have direct conversations with federal elected officials, and their staff, in an effort to garner support for arts in NJ. Staff will schedule meetings for all NJ congressional districts. An issue brief via webinar, and other resources, will be available to help you share compelling stories and data about the impact and transformative power of the arts have in your communities.
We're looking for advocates who are interested in joining us in Washington, D.C this year. Please be advised attendees are expected to cover the cost of food, lodging, and transportation for this trip.
