2024 Jan Bell-Irving Award for Women's Leadership - $2,500

Award Description

The purpose of this award is to inspire and encourage young women to lead at the highest levels with heart. The Jan Bell-Irving Award recognizes a female-identifying Junior Achiever who has demonstrated ambition and the ability to lead through collaboration and kindness.

The award recipient will receive $2,500 to support their diverse educational or other needs.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, you must:

Identify as female.
Have participated in JA Company Program, JA Company Program for Indigenous Learners, or JA Be Entrepreneurial.
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Have demonstrated leadership skills.
Be under the age of 29.

Other requirements:

Complete the online application in full, an updated resume & a signed media consent form.
Display proficient written and oral communication skills.
Be prepared to attend a brief interview in person or by phone.
Have not received this award previously.
