Cap Cana Heritage School is governed by School Coexistence Handbook that was prepared by school Leadership Team and approved by the Board of Directors. This handbook is in this link and contains the infractions and measures in accordance with Norms of the Dominican Educational System for the Harmonious Coexistence of Public and Private Educational Centers. Parents or guardians must state that they have received and are aware of the Cap Cana Heritage Coexistence Handbook at the time of formalizing the re-enrollment of their children. |
Cap Cana Heritage School se rige por un Reglamento de convivencia elaborado por el Equipo de Gestión y aprobado por el Consejo de Directores de la Institución. Este reglamento se encuentra en este enlace y contiene los derechos y deberes de la comunidad escolar, así como las faltas y sanciones aplicables y el procedimiento para imponerlas, de acorde con las normas del Sistema Educativo Dominicano para la Convivencia Armoniosa de los centros Educativos Públicos y Privados. Los padres, madres, o tutores deberán reconocer de manera formal y por escrito el haber recibido y tener conocimiento del Reglamento de Convivencia de Cap cana Heritage School al momento de formalizar la re-matriculación de sus hijo.

I have read and understand the CCHS Community Handbook, titled "CCHS Student-Family Handbook." By signing, I agree to assume the rights and duties established therein and to follow the rules and procedures stipulated. | Declaro que he leído y entendido el Reglamento de Convivencia de CCHS, titulado "Manual para Estudiantes-Familias CCHS. I acknowledge that I have read and agree to abide by all the terms and conditions on the registration and admissions form, and to follow all the necessary steps to complete the application and admissions process. • I understand that my child's enrollment process is not complete until all required documents are submitted, and payments are made for the chosen plan in its entirety. • We agree to select a payment plan and I promise to make the payments on the dates established according to the chosen plan. I understand that for my son / daughter to be able to start classes in August, I must have made the corresponding payments before the established dates. I acknowledge that if I withdraw my child before June 30th, the school will refund 60% of the tuition; withdrawal before July 31st, the school will refund 50% of the tuition. As of August 1st, NO AMOUNT will be refunded. I accept that the amount paid to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is not refundable. If I do not comply with the tuition payment agreement and/or any other debt for the current school year, I understand that Cap Cana Heritage School reserves the right to not readmit my child to school next year. Likewise, the School reserves the right to only accept the Single Payment Plan for the re-registration/enrollment of the student, when there has been a precedent of non-compliance with payments.

Admito haber leído y estoy de acuerdo en cumplir con todos los términos y condiciones en el formulario de matriculación y admisión, y en seguir todos los pasos necesarios para completar la solicitud y el proceso de admisión. • Entiendo que el proceso de matriculación de mi hijo/a no está concluido, hasta tanto sean entregados todos los documentos requeridos, y realizados los pagos correspondientes al plan elegido en su totalidad. • Estamos de acuerdo en seleccionar un plan de pago y me comprometo a realizar dichos pagos en las fechas establecidas de acuerdo al plan elegido. Entiendo para que mi hijo(a) pueda iniciar las clases en agosto debo haber realizado el pago correspondiente antes de las fechas establecidas. Reconozco que en caso de retirar a mi hijo(a) antes del día 30 de junio, el colegio me devolverá el 60% de la colegiatura; de ser antes del día 31 de julio, un 50%. A partir del 1ro de agosto NO HAY REEMBOLSO. Acepto que el monto pagado por concepto Asociación de Padres no es reembolsable. De no cumplir con el acuerdo de pago de la matrícula y/o cualquier otra deuda del año escolar en curso, entiendo que el Colegio Cap Cana Heritage School se reserva el derecho de no readmitir mi hijo/a en el colegio el próximo año. Asimismo, el Colegio se reserva el derecho de solo aceptar el Plan Único para la re-matriculación/matriculación del alumno/a, cuando haya existido un precedente de incumplimiento de los pagos.

Modality. I accepts that CAP CANA HERITAGE SCHOOL may impart teaching and learning in-person, through blended learning, or virtual learning, according to the instructions of its regulating body, MINERD, without this implying changes to the Contract of Services.

I recognizes and commits to complying with and ensuring due compliance of the institution’s sanitary protocol, and at the same time, recognizes and accepts that COVID-19, is a Pandemic (worldwide), and that contagion of the virus may be produced in any space of circulation of “The Student,” without this generating civil, legal, sanitary, and/or any other form of liability for Cap Cana Heritage School, in the face of a possible contagion. | Protocolo Sanitario. Cap Cana Heritage School reserves the right to refuse re-registration of the family in the School, if the behavior of the parents/guardians does not comply with courtesy norms and the rules and regulations established by the School; or if comments, conduct, or actions of any kind damage or intend to damage the reputation of the School or Cap Cana before the national or international community; also if parent/guardian demonstrates conduct that is considered inappropriate to other members of the educational community (students, teachers, guests, employees, other parents, etc.) by the school’s administration. |

INFORMATION POLICY/INFORMACIÓN DE LA POLÍTICA

Cap Cana Heritage School is pleased to offer students and staff of CCHS the use of computer networks to access the Internet, Email and other on-line material. Access to network resources will enable students to explore a multitude of educational sites and exchange messages with Internet users throughout the world with electronic mail. These resources will be used to support research and offer unique opportunities for collaborative work. These resources contribute to all users in the school community and, therefore, they must be used with great care.

Access to network resources is given to students who agree to act in a considerate and responsible manner. Access is a privilege, not a right, and entails personal responsibility. Students who have not returned an Acceptable Use Policy permission form signed both by themselves and a guardian will not have independent use of the school’s computer or network resources. Individual users of school computers and network resources and personal devices are responsible for their behavior and communications over the network. All students are given their own personal storage space on school servers. System storage areas and personal devices may be treated like lockers; Network Administrators may review files and communications to maintain system integrity and to ensure students are using the system responsibly. Users should not expect that files stored on school servers will remain private. Within reason and legal guidelines, freedom of speech and access to information shall be honored.

El Cap Cana Heritage School se complace en ofrecer a los estudiantes y al personal de CCHS el uso de las redes de ordenadores para acceder a Internet, correo electrónico y otros materiales en línea. El acceso a los recursos de la red permitirá a los estudiantes a explorar una multitud de sitios educativos e intercambiar mensajes con usuarios de Internet en todo el mundo con el correo electrónico. Estos recursos se utilizarán para apoyar la investigación y ofrecer oportunidades únicas para el trabajo colaborativo. Estos recursos contribuyen a todos los usuarios de la comunidad escolar y, por lo tanto, se deben usar con mucho cuidado.

El acceso a los recursos de la red se da a los estudiantes que aceptan actuar en forma considerada y responsable. El acceso es un privilegio, no un derecho, y conlleva la responsabilidad personal. Los estudiantes deben de completar formulario de autorización de Uso Aceptable y firmarlos, tanto por ellos mismos y un guardián, no tendrá un uso independiente de la computadora o de la red de recursos de la escuela. Los usuarios de computadoras de la escuela, de los dipositivos personales y de los recursos de red son responsables de su comportamiento y las comunicaciones en la red. A todos los estudiantes se les da su propio espacio personal de almacenamiento en los servidores escolares. Áreas de almacenamiento del sistema, como también del los dispositivos personales pueden ser tratados como los armarios, los administradores de red pueden revisar archivos y comunicaciones para mantener la integridad del sistema y asegurar que los estudiantes están usando el sistema responsablemente. Los usuarios no deben esperar que los archivos almacenados en los servidores escolares sigan siendo privados. Dentro de lo razonable y lineamientos legales, será honrado la libertad de expresión y el acceso a la información.

Examples of violations are listed below. Depending upon the violation and/or the amount of damage caused the students may permanently lose his/her access to the school's network or his/her access to the school's networks or his/her electronics device.
