The Bild Group is made up of three charities: Bild (The British Institute of Learning Disabilities); Bild ACT (Association of Certified Training) and the RRN (Restraint Reduction Network).

Bild is a charity that protects and supports the rights of people with learning disabilities.
We do this by working with organisations to show them how to give good support to people. This might be through:

• Training
• Conferences or events
• Projects and other work

The Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) is a registered charity which tries to reduce the use of restrictive practices.
The RRN is a group of organisations and people who work together to share their work.
RRN has a set of standards and uses some practical tools to help organisations.

Bild ACT is a charity, which gives a certificate for good training about using restrictive practices.

It makes sure that people are treated with respect. If an organisation gets a certificate it means they use the RRN Training Standards.
