2. VOLUNTEERING INFO

The Bike Project operates from a number of different locations in London and the West Midlands - and we are always on the look-out for additional volunteer help in our roadshow cities.

The Bike Project is in the process of launching our new Volunteer Portal - a platform designed to point volunteer assistance towards where it is needed the most (on an ad-hoc basis). Individual tasks will be posted weekly, with volunteers offered the chance to 'claim' those opportunities. Jobs could include...
  • Teaching a refugee bike recipient close to you how to repair their puncture
  • Showing a refugee bike recipient how to use a pump at their local bike shop
  • Guiding a bike recipient home on public transport
  • Taking a bike to a bike recipient housed a long way from our collection hub


We are always on the lookout for van drivers who can contribute their time and vehicle to helping us transport bikes from Drop-off Points to our workshop spaces









Some volunteering opportunities require all volunteers to hold a valid DBS check. In instances where you don't already have one, we may ask you to apply for one (we can assist with this process).
