THE YAMIM PROJECT: FROM GRIEF TO GROWTH

Equipping educators to prepare for Yom Ha’Zikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut Post-October 7th.


 

The Yamim Project aims to catalyze a transformative shift by inspiring educators to co-create and pilot a new, current, and responsive approach to Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut in their own communities.


The significance of commemorating Yom Hazikaron and celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut has taken on a new depth in our post-October 7th world, particularly in an environment of record levels of antisemitism and anti-Zionism. The choices we make now – the stories we tell, the rituals we establish and the calls to action we make – will shape our individual identities, collective sense of Jewish peoplehood and relationship with the State of Israel – for years to come.

Video Consent and Release Form 

I hereby grant permission to M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education (hereinafter referred to as "M²") to use my image, likeness, voice, and any video footage or photographs taken of me during M² events or activities for the purposes of educational and promotional materials.   1. Use of Materials: M² may use the video footage, photographs, and recordings in various formats, including but not limited to, print, digital, online, social media, and broadcast media. These materials may be used for educational purposes, marketing, promotional materials, presentations, publications, and any other purpose deemed appropriate by M².
  2. Ownership and Copyright: I acknowledge that M² is the sole owner of the video footage, photographs, and recordings. I understand that I do not have any rights or claim to the materials, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the final materials before they are used.
  3. Release of Liability: I release M², its officers, employees, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or demands arising out of the use of the video footage, photographs, or recordings, including but not limited to, any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of my rights of publicity or copyright.
  4. Confidentiality: M² will make reasonable efforts to respect my privacy and will not disclose any personal information without my consent, except as required by law.
  5. No Compensation: I understand that I will not receive any compensation or remuneration for the use of the video footage, photographs, or recordings.
  6. Voluntary Participation: My participation in any M² events or activities is voluntary, and I have not been coerced or pressured into providing this consent.
